Greetings Marauder Students and Parents!

 

I am excited about starting another year here at Mitchell!  I am especially looking forward to getting to know my new students and families!!  I will be teaching course 3 math and IM1 math and I am ready to engage your child with collaborative and interesting activities for them to engage in throughout the year.

 

This year, my students will develop their skills on various units of the curriculum that use Common Core State Standards, which makes them critically think about each section and how it relates to the real world around them.  We will also be gaining a deeper perspective of understanding by discussing why the content is important on a global context.  This year, students will be expected to gain a stronger understanding of the IB program and it's many wonderful characteristics!
