Mangini Ranch Elementary

Hello, my name is Mrs. Knecht and I am delighted to welcome you and your child to Mangini Ranch 2nd Grade. I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. Together we will work toward your child becoming an independent reader, confident writer, and great at everyday grammar. We will be studying plants, performing hands-on experiments, and learning about the wonders of Earth. Math will include manipulatives and projects as we  learn to add and subtract with regrouping by the end of the year. Ultimately, my underlying goal is to create an environment that encourages inquiry and engagement, and to assist in developing your child's love for learning.
