Dear CHS Parents and Students:
The school year is moving rapidly through the fourth quarter!
Students will be taking reading diagnostics and common assessments before Final Exams.
Students need to stay focused and use class time wisely with cell phones out of sight. They should be kept in backpacks during English classes to maximize learning goals for academic success. That is our number one problem in the classroom -- excessive cell phone use.
The English Department is firmly committed to the academic success and social-emotional well-being of our students.
If you need to reach an English teacher, email is usually the easiest way to contact us given our busy teaching schedules. We will always strive to respond to parents and guardians within 48 hours to address any concerns.
All the best,
The Cordova High School English Department
