We are ready to start distance learning today!
Please click on the link to the left that describes your class (6th English or 6th Honors English) in order to see the agenda for the day. Click on the agenda and do the assignments listed. You will need to open StudySync (McGraw Hill). The district would like you to open Schoology daily although there will not be assignments listed on Schoology for my classes. Assignments will be on this website and on the StudySync platform.
StudySync log in: You can get to the StudySync website from the FMS homepage. Scroll down until you see "additional links" on the left side of the page. Click on Clever and log in. I'm not sure if Clever/StudySync needs your entire email or just the user name. Try both ways if you are having issues. Once you are in Clever, click the McGraw Hill/StudySync picture. Find the ELA StudySync part of McGraw Hill and do the assignments on your dashboard. Most of you have logged in numerous times. Use the same procedure that you did in class.

First of all, I hope you and your family are doing well and are healthy.
As of today, teachers are still not assigning any new work. There are many questions that you or your parents might have, but I do not have all the answers at this time. Please continue to be patient and know that online learning is scheduled to start next week. I will give you more updates when I have them. We will be using our StudySync platform, Google Classroom, and Schoology, but please do not look for new assignments until next week.
If you are getting restless and would like to do something English related, you can work on iReady lessons. These lessons are not graded and they are not official assignments. You may also look back through your composition books to review English terms that we will continue to study when online learning begins.

I know some of you have emailed asking about homework, so I wanted to give you a quick message.
First of all, hang on to any and all of your assignments and homework. Don't worry about turning anything in tomorrow (Monday 3/15) or taking any tests that were scheduled for Monday.
I do not have any new information, but please check the district website for district news about school closures. Also, please check this page daily for any possible updates specific to your English grade 6 class.
