BUS SCHEDULES

Reminders:

  • Students are required to be at the bus stop lined up 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time (Buses do not wait past pick up time). 
  • Students are to load and unload in an orderly manner.
  • All students are required to line up and scan/show their bus pass to the driver.
  • Students with bus passes will board the bus first.
  • Students without a bus pass will load last and their names will be documented on a non-pass rider list.
  • Students that are required to cross the street must cross with the bus driver, no exceptions! Students must cross only in the front of the bus and only at district approved bus stops when the red lights are activated.

We would like to remind you that when selecting a bus stop for your student, it is essential to choose the nearest stop to your home residence. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and efficiency of our transportation services. However, if the bus stop selected is a Prohibited Bus Stop or outside of your designated residence area, transportation will notify the parent(s) and assign students to their appropriate designated bus stop.

PROHIBITED BUS STOPS § 1238. School Bus Stops.

(b) Prohibited Stops. A school bus stop shall not be designated at the following locations:

(1) Within 200 ft of the nearest rail of any railroad crossing or grade, except at railroad stations or on highways that parallel the railroad tracks

(2) The left-hand side of any highway

(3) On a divided or multiple-lane highway where pupils must cross the highway to board or after exiting the bus, unless traffic is controlled by a traffic officer or official traffic control signal. For the purposes of this subsection, a multiple-lane highway is defined as any highway having two or more lanes of travel in each direction.
