BUS DRIVER TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS

CLASSROOM:

• Instruction: 2-3 weeks - includes moderate homework
• Hours: 25-30

BEHIND THE WHEEL TRAINING:

After you successfully complete the classroom training and pass your written tests, you are required to receive a minimum of twenty (20) hours of behind-the-wheel training. We have qualified instructors on staff to help you become successful.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

You will need to do the following:

• Lift 50 lbs
• Pass a DMV Physical
• DMV clearance
• Criminal background check (fingerprinting) with both our School District and the California Highway Patrol
• Pass a pre-employment drug test

COST FOR TRAINING SERVICES: 

• There is no fee.
