California Healthy Kid Survey

This anonymous survey collects information on youth supports, school connectedness, barriers to learning, health behaviors (physical activity and nutrition), substance use, and school safety.

Survey questions are posted on the CalSCHLS website in English and Spanish as they become available each year. Please visit the site below to review the survey modules and see the questions FCUSD students will be asked.

• Elementary: Core, TUPE
• Secondary: Core, Behavioral Health

Starting in the 24-25 school year, FCUSD surveys students every other year. 

• 5th grade (active consent)
• 7th,9th,11th, and all non-traditional(passive consent)

School sites will communicate the exact testing dates. The survey window is anticipated to be between October 20, 2026, and November 20, 2026.
