2024-2025 School Boundary Modifications

(School Board approved 12/14/2023 and Effective Starting with the 2024/2025 School Year)

With the opening of Alder Creek Elementary School, for the 2024-2025 school year, it is necessary to adjust the school attendance boundaries in the area south of Highway 50 and rebalance elementary school enrollment north of Highway 50. Approved boundary modifications are for elementary schools only.

Boundary modification proposals for Folsom middle schools and high schools are still being considered and will be brought forward for discussion at a later date.

**Please note that students with special education services are placed by the IEP Team and school assignments are reviewed annually. It is the goal of the special education department to place special needs students at a school nearest to their home that meets the need of their IEP.**

Due to changes in attendance trends, there is a need to rebalance the attendance boundaries at the schools listed below.

Gold Ridge Elementary to Sandra J Gallardo Elementary: The following area generally east of Folsom High School, south of Iron Point Road, and Willowood and Willow Springs Apartments are being shifted to Sandra J Gallardo Elementary School and remain at Sutter Middle School and Folsom High School. Streets include:
