FCUSD Employees celebrated

May is a month to honor and show appreciation for teachers and staff in education. Last week hundreds of FCUSD employees enjoyed an evening of gratitude during the Annual FCUSD Employee Recognition event at Hagan Community Park.

See a gallery of photos HERE.

Among the honorees were employees who are retiring and those celebrating 20, 25, 30, 35 and 50 years of service! We also had the opportunity to recognize our District’s Employees of the Year, three of whom won at the state level. Learn more about our California State winners on our website and Facebook page.

A very big THANK YOU to the many dedicated FCUSD employees for their support of our schools, students, and families

We are immensely grateful to our wonderful community who joined us for the groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, May 16, to mark the beginning of construction of FCUSD's newest school, Alder Creek Elementary School in Folsom!

The 80,000 sq ft school will serve an estimated 760 students, TK- 5th grade. This school will be built in the Folsom planning area south of HWY 50. Based on current projected numbers the doors of Alder Creek Elementary School are set to open for the 2024-25 school year.

As our community grows, we grow with it!
