Update July 1, 2020
UPDATE: July 1, 2020
Dear FCUSD staff and families:
At the June 30th Board Meeting, the Board voted to adopt the Transitional Model option for TK-12 am/pm, 4-5 days per week in order to comply with health and safety guidelines set forth by the California Department of Public Health, Sacramento County Public Health, Sacramento County Office of Education and the California Department of Education.
- Transitional model: a combination of in-person instruction a minimum of four days a week and daily learning at a distance, for as long as social distancing is required by the Sacramento Department of Public Health.
- AM/PM Schedule: Half of the students at the school site attend school in the morning, half of the students at the school site attend in the afternoon.
This foundational structure will allow staff to set in motion, plans and considerations for staffing, instructional delivery, operations, and custodial requirements, transportation, food services, child care, and the many components that are involved in delivering excellent learning opportunities for our students.
Details, student assignments, and more information will be forthcoming as staff works diligently to create an engaging and safe learning environment for all students.
