Secondary students on campus Tuesday - Friday, starting April 13

As announced prior to spring break, all secondary schools will be combining A and B hybrid groups beginning Tuesday, April 13, allowing students who want, to have in-person Hybrid instruction Tuesday - Friday. Nothing changes for students who decided to remain in distance learning for the remainder of the school year. For questions and specifics, please reach out to your school directly.

Upcoming Board meetings  

Given the many pivots and system changes created by the pandemic over the last few months, there have been many Special Board meetings scheduled over the last year, more than would take place in a typical year. There are many reasons why a Special Board meeting might take place. One is so all Board members can gather to discuss District business. Per the Brown Act, our Board members cannot gather in groups of more than two unless they meet in an official capacity as a full Board at a Board meeting. 

Two Special Board meetings have been scheduled this week in order to conduct District and Board business. 

Wednesday, April 7, 5:30 p.m. Closed Session only

Agenda item: Employer Employee Relations: With respect to every item of business to be discussed in closed session pursuant to Section 54957.6 of the Government Code: Conference with Labor Negotiators

Please note: Public may comment on the closed session agenda item only.  

Saturday, April 10. Open Session meeting on Zoom, scheduled from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Board workshop to discuss the Board’s self-evaluation. 

Special Board meetings will be accessible via Zoom only. Additionally, all Special Board meeting agendas will be posted 24 hours prior to the meeting at www.fcusd.org/virtualboardmeeting
