Update: Message to FCUSD Families

Dear FCUSD families:
Innovations Academy: FCUSD K - 12 Virtual Learning School opening for the 2021-22 school year!
Enrollment is NOW open and will run from April 26 - May 7
Innovations Academy will offer students grades K - 12 an online option for learning that is structured similarly to a traditional setting, but in a 100% online environment. Students will receive instruction from highly-qualified treachers through a streamlined platform, specifically designed for virtual education.
Whereas Distance Learning was a temporary pivot due to the pandemic, Innovations Academy is a separate and permanent virtual school. Students interested would become part of the Innovations Academy student body and enjoy the unique learning experience of interacting virtually with their teacher(s) and classmates.

Join us tomorrow on YouTube to hear a presentation from the school's principal, Kimberly Walker. You will learn more about Innovations Academy and have an opportunity to ask questions.

After the presentation you will be able to submit your questions using the Thoughtexchange survey tool. All you need to have ready is your mobile device or a computer. Staff will answer as many questions as possible in real time. Top questions and answers gathered tomorrow will then be posted on the school's web page in both English and Spanish for later reference.
