Dear FCUSD Community, please see today’s update which includes information on our upcoming vaccine clinic, available for anyone 12 years and older.

FREE COVID vaccine clinic, for ages 12 and up!
FCUSD is co-hosting a COVID vaccine clinic with public health, this Saturday at Cordova High. The Pfizer vaccine will be given so anyone 12 years and older may participate. We are especially pleased to present this opportunity to our students. Did you know that once vaccinated, you no longer need to quarantine if exposed to COVID positive individual?

- First dose: May 15
- Second dose: June 5 (you must return for the second dose)
- Parents/guardians of students under 18 must be present with their child
- Where: Cordova High, 2239 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova - Auxiliary Gym
- Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Vaping information night for parents of teens - Virtual presentation
Parents / Guardians of teens, and especially those with incoming 9th and 10th-grade students, are invited to attend this valuable information night. Topics that will be addressed include trends in tobacco and marijuana use among teens and strategies for prevention.

Innovations Academy: K-12 Virtual Learning – Enrolling NOW
FCUSD’s newest school will offer full virtual learning for students K - 12. This is a unique and specialized opportunity for students who desire daily interaction with their teacher(s) while learning in a virtual classroom. The flexibility of Innovations Academy will also allow FCUSD students to continue participating in clubs, athletics and extracurricular activities at their school of residence.

Next week, Friday, May 21 will be a super-minimum day.
- The schedule will follow the same as Mondays
- There will be a synchronous meeting in the morning and then asynchronous learning for the rest of the day
