Kindness week - Back together, Stronger than Ever!

Last week, schools across FCUSD celebrated Cool2BKind Week, Back Together and Stronger Than Ever! The kindness celebration, which typically takes place at the start of each school year, setting the tone for positive and respectful school environments. Activities throughout the week focused on building back school, community, and social connections, with a specific focus on equity and inclusion.

“Investing in social skills instruction and working to create a welcoming environment where students feel safe to take risks is key to laying the foundation for learning,” said Carl H. Sundahl Principal, David Frankel. “Celebrating kindness at the beginning of the school year is one way we do that!”

Check out some ways our students and staff celebrated Cool2BKind Week to spread love, compassion, empathy, and inclusion throughout our community by visiting our Facebook gallery of pictures here.
