FCUSD Message to the Community, March 16
March 16, 2022

Dear FCUSD Community,

The COVID-19 Dashboard has been updated. Please visit: www.fcusd.org/COVID

Attendance and connections

We value parents and guardians as our educational partners and appreciate your involvement in your student’s success, especially during the last several months of disruptions created by the pandemic.

Now that we are moving closer to pre-pandemic learning experiences, we once again are asking for your support and partnership to help promote regular attendance.

We know in-person attendance is good for learning. We also know that coming to school to interact with teachers and peers is important for social-emotional development. Connecting and interacting with one another helps strengthen relationships and build on important social skills, vital for students as they grow.

Beginning this week, schools will once again resume sending notification letters home regarding student absences. These are meant to inform as we work together to provide every excellent learning opportunity for your student. If you have any concerns or need support surrounding attendance, please reach out to your school site principal.

We are stronger together - let’s finish this year stronger than ever!
