Strengthening Families Program starts on February 16!
The Strengthening Families Program is a no-cost program, sponsored by FCUSD and is a time for adults and their children (grades 1 to 12) to learn strategies and skills for building a happier, healthier family. Children learn communication and social skills to help them solve problems and resist peer pressure. Parents/guardians learn to effectively bond, set boundaries, and monitor their children’s activity

Submit written public comments prior to the Board meeting, using the Google Public Comment Card Form link found on our website (provided no later than 12:00 p.m., the day prior to the meeting). All written comments will be given to the Board for review by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3. The link will close by 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 3.
Public comments may be made during the Board meeting, in-person at the Education Services Center (1965 Birkmont Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA), or via Zoom. Due to constraints on our Zoom account, the maximum number of participants in the Zoom room is 300.

Sac County Office of Education, listening circles for student mental health and wellness
In November 2021, the Sacramento County Office of Education and Sacramento County Department of Health Services, Behavioral Health Services launched a participatory process to develop a new plan for student mental health and wellness in Sacramento County.
They are excited to launch virtual listening sessions, the next opportunity to participate in the planning process.
What: Virtual listening sessions to gather information about strengths, challenges, and opportunities related to student mental health and wellness in Sacramento County.

Who should attend: All are welcome! Sessions are open to anyone with an interest in student mental health and wellness.
