Social media trend - false school accounts

Please be aware that there is a social media trend, encouraging students to create false social media accounts that look like school site accounts, using unapproved school or district logos and identifiers. In many cases, social media posting feature photos of students or staff without their permission, and inappropriate or harassing content. This is a national trend that is happening to FCUSD schools.

Taking photos or recording students or staff without their permission and knowledge is not acceptable behavior.  Appropriate disciplinary action will take place for any student who is violating others’ privacy, harassing others, or participating in cyberbullying. 

WHAT YOU CAN DO:  We encourage parents to carefully monitor their student’s social media accounts. We also ask our community for your support. If a social media post looks suspicious or concerning, please check with your school’s principal to verity if the content is true and please report anything inappropriate.

Go FHS Bulldogs! State Championship game tonight

Join us in wishing the Folsom Bulldog Football Team good luck tonight as they compete for the state title against Cathedral Catholic in Southern California. Game starts tonight at 8:00 p.m.

Last week the Bulldog Nation took down powerhouse De La Salle HS Football, who had not lost to a Sac Joaquin Section team since 1978.
