The COVID-19 Dashboard has been updated as of 4/21. Please visit:

Vaccine eligibility is open to anyone 16 years of age or older. Last month, the Sacramento County Office of Education announced a partnership with Sacramento County Public Health (SCPH), to expand information and access to the vaccine for educators and students 16 years and older.

Note: At this time, only the Pfizer vaccine is approved for those 16 and over.

To learn more about vaccine clinics in the area, and those offering the Pfizer vaccine, please visit the Sacramento County Public Health vaccine information webpage.

FCUSD’s newest school offering 100% virtual learning named Innovations Academy

On March 23, the Board approved a new virtual academy school to open for the 2021-22 school year. Since then the California Department of Education (CDE) approved the District's application for a new virtual academy school, and Kimberly Walker was selected to be the principal. Now it’s time to enroll students and build the school’s staff!

IMPORTANT: Enrollment for Innovations Academy begins next week, and will remain open from April 26 - May 7

We know families and students will have many questions as they make a decision about enrolling in Innovations Academy. Please see the attached flyer and visit our webpage for more information, including the enrollment process:

Innovations Academy hosts an information night

The District will hold a virtual information night so you may learn more about Innovations Academy and meet its new principal. Principal Walker will share details about this unique learning opportunity for students, and provide information on how to enroll. After her presentation, there will be time for a live response to questions submitted using the Thoughtexchange survey tool.

SAVE THE DATE: Innovations Academy information night: Tuesday, April 27, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

**Information and instructions for joining the virtual information night will be provided next week**
