FCUSD’s Office of Communication and Community Engagement fosters relationships that build understanding and support for our public schools by facilitating transparent, two-way communication. We do this by sharing the District’s story with our students, staff, families, and community, and by building partnerships that maintain and enhance resources that support student achievement.

Folsom Cordova News and Information We keep the community connected to school success by proactively sharing news from our schools through a variety of channels, including our website, our District's  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram , LinkedIn  and YouTube, just to name a few. In emergencies and other high-priority announcements, families can stay connected through our District notification system, Blackboard Mass Notification, for phone, email, and texts.    

Stakeholder Engagement and Special Events Our valuable relationships with students, staff, families, and community members - as well as leaders throughout businesses, nonprofits, local government agencies, and faith-based organizations - foster support and generate resources for our schools and students. Special events educate and inspire staff and community members about their important role in supporting student success. 
 
Media Relations Our office serves as a liaison to the news media and the general public so that we can keep our community informed of our successes, and up-to-date during emergencies and crises. 
 
Strategic Communication and Marketing  Our schools create myriad opportunities and personalized pathways for individual students to meet their full potential and succeed in the 21st century. We help schools inform families of the excellent educational choices in FCUSD and identify opportunities for involvement.
