If you wish to transfer into the Folsom Cordova Unified School District

Interdistrict Transfer Requests for the 2026-27 school year are currently being accepted.

Decisions for 2026-2027 Interdistrict Transfer requests are not expected to be made before April 30th, 2026. Please plan to enroll your student in their home district in the meantime.

You may email all documents to Administrative Assistant, Erin Martinez at EMMartinez@fcusd.org. Please be aware that during periods when high volumes of requests are received, responses to emails and phone calls may take longer than the typical 48 hour response time.

Step one: An Interdistrict Transfer permit must be submitted to and approved by your district of residence.  Applications must include copies of your child’s report card/transcriptattendance recordsdiscipline records, and IEP (if applicable) from their last school of attendance. Transfer requests will not be considered complete until all required documents are received and will not be date stamped until that time.

Step two: If approved, your district of residence will send us the approved permit, provide you with the approved permit for submission, or both. Once it is received by our office, it will be reviewed and approved or denied based on space available, as well as the terms and conditions specified by the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE).

Step three: If the Interdistrict Transfer request is approved, you will be notified and advised of next steps for enrollment. If the Interdistrict Transfer request is denied, you will be notified by mail and advised of appeal options, if applicable.
