The Board of Education adopted Resolution No. 03-12-20-31: Establishing Intention to Transition to District Based Elections. The Resolution carried 5-0. View Resolution here.

Board of Education Regular Meeting: First Public Hearing on "By-Trustee Area" Elections for the Public to Provide Input Before Drawing a Draft Map or Maps of the Proposed Aeas for the District.

Thursday, March 26, 2020 - Folsom Cordova Unified School District Education Services Center Boardroom, 1965 Birkmont Drive , Rancho Cordova

The District held the first of four public hearings for the public to provide input regarding the composition of districts the District intends to establish for Board member elections before drawing a draft map or maps of the proposed areas for the District.

Board of Education Special Meeting: Second Public Hearing on "By-Trustee Area" Elections on "By-Trustee Area" Elections for the Public to Provide Input Before Drawing a Draft Map or Maps of the Proposed Aeas for the District.

Thursday, April 14, 2020- Folsom Cordova Unified School District Education Services Center Boardroom, 1965 Birkmont Drive , Rancho Cordova.

The Governor issued Executive Order N-25-20, which directs Californians to follow public health directives including canceling large gatherings. The Executive Order also allows local legislative bodies to hold meetings via conference calls while still satisfying state transparency requirements. The Governor has also issued Executive Order N-33-20, prohibiting people from leaving their homes or places of residence except to access necessary supplies and services or to engage in specified critical infrastructure employment.

The Public’s health and well-being are the top priority for the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of Folsom Cordova Unified School District (“District”) and you are urged to take all appropriate health safety precautions. To facilitate this process, the meeting of the Board will be available by:

Thursday, April 23, 2020 – Virtual Zoom School Board Meeting and live streamed through YouTube. Written public comments were submited via a Google form. 

The Board of Education adopted Resolution No. 04-23-20-41: Resolution to Cure and Correct and Unconditionally Commit to Ceasing Challenged Action. The Resolution carried 5-0.

The District held the third of four public hearings for the public to provide input regarding the composition of districts the District intends to establish for Board member elections before drawing a draft map or maps of the proposed areas for the District.
