Starstruck Showcase 2024

  • What is Starstruck?

Starstruck is a 6-week dance program that is offered to all our students. Students will learn a full dance routine and at the end of the six weeks they will be able to show what they have learned in a "Showcase" performance in front of family. This program not only builds students’ self-esteem and confidence, but it also offers them physical education and a great sense of achievement and satisfaction when they perform in the Showcase production.

One of the biggest highlights of this program is that the children will perform in two evening shows.  The evening performance for your child will take place on Wednesday, March 6th  OR Thursday, March 7th   (see the below listing of which classes perform on each night).  The children will perform two identical shows on their assigned night; one at 6:00pm and the second at 7:00pm.  All students performing on their respective night are required to stay for both shows.

We are requesting advanced notice for any student who will not be able to perform that evening as every absent student leaves a gap in the performance.

    When will my child perform?

Does my child need a costume?

Each classroom teacher will be in charge of putting a simple outfit together to go with their song (example: a baseball hat, socks, and sunglasses).  Please be on the lookout for specific information from your child’s teacher.

    How can I help?

Parent volunteers are needed to help with costumes, set up, clean up, and logistics on performance nights. Please look for more information from your child’s teacher.

    How do I get tickets?

Good News! Thanks to generous donations to PTA’s Fox Fund, this is one of the many enrichment opportunities our PTA is able sponsor this year.  More detailed information about tickets will be forthcoming.  Look for a special email regarding ticket to be coming soon!
