• We will be having a drop by meet & greet for new and returning students who want to join on Monday, Aug. 7th from 1 pm. - 2 p.m. * Please sign in at the office prior to coming to the classroom *

     

    What your child needs to bring to school each day

    - A backpack: Standard size (large enough to fit a folder)

    - Snack & Reusable Water Bottle

     

    One the first day of school

    - A change of clothes in a labeled ziploc bag (please include a short sleeved, long sleeved, shorts, pants, underwear (if currently wearing) and socks)

    - Pull-ups (at least a week supply) if your child is not potty trained yet.

     

    Drop off & Pick up Procedure

    The classroom door we enter and exit through faces Blough Way. 

    AM session times: 8:15-10:56 (All am information in purple)

    PM session times: 12:06-2:45 (All pm information in blue)

    If your child is in the morning session, you will receive a parking permit to pull up and drop your child off in the parking loop you enter on Blough Way. Please display the permit on your dash at all times. 

    If your child is in the afternoon session, please park on the street and walk your child to the classroom. This will get them ready for TK and/or K procedures for school. If you feel there is an extenuating circumstance, please email or talk with me prior. 

    When you arrive, students will choose and stand on a letter dot placed along the classroom wall. We will open the door and start greeting students at 8:10/12:00. We will head into the classroom at 8:15/12:06 and close the door. Please knock (loudly) if you are late and are here before 8:25/12:10. If your are later than 8:25/12:10, please sign your child in at the office to get a late slip. 

    On rainy days, we will open the classroom door at 8:10/12:00 and welcome students into the classroom as they arrive. 

     

    CLASS WILL NOT BE IN SESSION THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH. Session times have been lengthened from last year to make up for this time. The day will be used for PLC time with other special education preschool teachers in the morning and to attend the staff meeting in the afternoon.
