Mrs. Beth Crandall

Mrs. Crandall is excited to be teaching choir at CHS this year! Prior to 2022-23, she taught band and orchestra at Mills Middle School for four years. Mrs. C is also an instructor for the Big Red Music Machine during their fall season.

She has a degree in music education, saxophone and vocal concentration, from Kean University in Union, NJ and was a member of the Rutgers University Marching Scarlet Knights. She is a three-time member of the New Jersey Intercollegiate Wind Ensemble and marched with Fusion Core Drum & Bugle Corps during their 2016 season. She has taught marching band at Jonathan Dayton High School (NJ), Bridgewater-Raritan High School (NJ), Folsom High School, and Cordova High School.

Mrs. C has been performing in choirs since she was a kid! She was a student conductor in high school, as well as a conductor for her university's Concert Choir. She has performed as a featured soloist and conductor up and down the east coast, from Boston to Orlando.

She strives to make her classroom a safe space for learning music, loving music, and making mistakes. Everyone is welcome and celebrated in the choir classroom.

When she's not at CHS, Mrs. C likes to knit, play video games, read, and hang out with her husband and two crazy cats.
