E-MAIL communication is a convenience regularly used. However, I ask that we do not use e-mail regarding student concerns until we talk in person. E-mail is a tool for arrangements, confirmations, and information. We do not register concerns/complaints via e-mail. E-mail communication is used for relaying routine information about school and class business and not for student-specific details or issues needing discussion. Concerns or complaints do not necessarily signal a crisis. Concerns and complaints are a natural outcome of providing care. They offer an opportunity for change and improvement.
