How does one make Public Comments at an in-person Board Meeting?

For general public participation (section VIII of Board agenda), the Board requests that you fill out a Public Comment form and return it to the Superintendent's Assistant, prior to the start of the meeting. These requests will be addressed during the (VIII) Public Comment agenda item. Those who wish to make a public comment directly related to any item on the meeting agenda will have an opportunity to speak when that agenda item is addressed and should fill out a Public Comment form and return to the Superintendent's Assistant.

Individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Board on each agenda or non-agenda item. In the event that there are more than fifteen (15) anticipated speakers, the Board may limit individual speakers to two minutes each, and the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes or the time necessary for twenty-five (25) speakers to address the Board, whichever is greater. (Board Bylaw 9323: Meeting Conduct)    Revised: February 2022
