    Please note: Masks are required regardless of vaccination status per the California Department of Public Health's latest guidelines for K - 12 schools, and health order issued from Sacramento County Public Health.  Persons unable to wear a face-covering based on a medical or mental health exemption may be subject to a request for verification.

    How does one make Public Comments at a Board Meeting?

    For general public participation (section VII of board agenda), the Board requests that you fill out a Public Comment card and return it to the Superintendent’s Assistant, prior to the start of the meeting. These requests will be addressed during the (VII) Public Participation agenda item. Those who wish to make a public comment directly related to any item on the meeting agenda will have an opportunity to speak when that agenda item is addressed and are not required to complete a Public Comment card prior to the meeting. Those participating on Zoom must use the “raise hand” feature to indicate their desire to provide a public comment.

    Comments from the public are limited to three (3) minutes (four (4) minutes for a student), regarding any item that is within the Board’s jurisdiction. Time limitations are at the discretion of the President of the Board of Trustees. The Board shall limit the total time for public comments on each item to 20 minutes. Please note that Government Code Section 54954.2(a) limits the ability of Board Members to respond to public comments. In addition, the Board may not take action on any item which is not on this agenda, except as authorized by Government Code 54954.2. (revised September 2021)

    • Turn in speaker card to Superintendent's Administrative Assistant before the meeting begins

    *The Governor has declared a State of Emergency to exist in California as a result of the threat of COVID-19 (aka the “Coronavirus”). The Governor issued Executive Order N-25-20, which directs Californians to follow public health directives, including canceling large gatherings. The Executive Order also allows local legislative bodies to hold meetings via conference calls, while still satisfying state transparency requirements. Executive Order N-08-21 set September 30, 2021, as the last day remote meetings may be held.

    The public’s health and well-being are the top priority for the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of Folsom Cordova Unified School District (“District”) and you are urged to take all appropriate health safety precautions.

    As a reminder, in addition to the State Health Order and corresponding face-covering guidance, the Sacramento County Department of Public Health local order, issued on July 29, remains in place, requiring face coverings in all indoor public settings and workplaces, including school settings. Copies of the county’s health order are available for anyone who wishes to review them during this meeting.

    FCUSD requires all in-person attendees at Board meetings to wear face coverings, regardless of vaccine status. For those who do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. Persons unable to wear a face-covering based on a medical or mental health exemption may be subject to a request for verification.

    Note: The meeting is being held in person and through video conference and/or by telephonic means and will be made accessible to members of the public seeking to attend and to address the Board. Members of the public seeking to attend and to address the Board who require reasonable accommodations to access the meeting, based on disability or other reasons, should contact the following person at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of a Regular meeting to make arrangements for such reasonable accommodations. (For Special meetings, please request accommodations no less than 12 hours prior to the meeting.)
