Hello!  My name is Mrs. Smith and I am starting my 18^th year of teaching. While most of my career has been spent teaching 6th grade at the middle school level, I am SO excited to be in elementary school and teaching 5th grade.  This will begin my 4th year teaching 5th grade. 5^th grade is such an exciting time in kids' lives and I am thrilled to be a part of it. 

In my time away from Folsom Hills I am very busy with my husband and 2 daughters ( 1 FHE Fox and the other in middle school). They are the absolute light of our lives!  My family and I are big sports fans and we love our San Francisco Giants!  We love getting outside and enjoying the outdoors anytime we can, doing things like hiking, camping, biking and paddleboarding. 

I am really looking forward to making connections with each of you and your children so that we can all have a successful and positive 5th grade experience. My intention is to make your student's last year of elementary school educational and fun while preparing them for middle school next year.
