• AP Art

    Drawing, 2D, Sculpture

  • AP Art is an introductory college-level drawing course. Students refine and apply skills and ideas they develop throughout the course to produce drawings and paintings of high quality for portfolio submission.

The AP Drawing portfolio review consists of producing fifteen quality artworks that will be photographed and submitted alongside five physical works. The works that you physically send for review can also be included in the digital images so that the minumum number of works is really fifteen. However I recommend having twenty works ready to show by portfoio review.

In addition to the Drawing portfolio, students may consider submitting a 2D Art and Design portfoio or a 3D Art and Design portfoio.

Making the requisite number of quality works is not an easy task. If you are not currently producing artwork you will need to seriously consider if you have the time in your schedule to make the art.
