Welcome students and families to fifth grade in Room 22!  I am thrilled for the exciting times ahead this school year as we learn, grow, and make many memories as a classroom community.

I reside in Folsom with my husband and son.  I am originally from Texas and have also lived in Michigan.  I have a Bachelor's Degree from Sam Houston State Univeristy in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree from Michigan State University in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctorate Degree from UC Davis in Educational Leadership.  This is my 22nd year in education, and many of those years have been spent teaching in various districts in Texas and California. I have taught kindergarten through fifth grade. 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
