Sacramento State Summer Youth Academies
Students get hands on academic and career exploration. Academies are lead by campus faculty and industry experts in a variety of disciplines, including: 3D printing, Arts, Business, Computer Science, Creative writing, Digital Journalism and Story-telling, Health Careers and public safety. Shriner’s Children’s Hospital - Summer Youth Academy
The Shriners Children’s Summer Youth Academy gives 16- and 17-year-old students the opportunity to learn about career pathways in health care. The Academy will take place June 17, 2024 through June 21, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Application deadline April 1,2024.

UC Davis Young Scholars Program

The UC Davis Young Scholars Program is a summer residential research program designed to expose approximately 40 high-achieving high school students to the world of original research within the fields of the biological, agricultural, environmental and natural sciences.
Participants in the UC Davis Young Scholars Program work one-on-one with research faculty and research groups in state-of-the-art laboratories for six weeks. Each student will work on an individual project and prepare a journal-quality paper and symposium presentation about their work.
UCLA Summer Game Lab program
Registration opens Feb 15, 2024 Deadline June 1,2024
Must be 15 at the start of the program. There are 3 sessions A,B,C.
During the two-week program, students will be introduced to the art and technology of game development through a four-course curriculum.. This includes learning the fundamentals of game design; creating character animations, world building, and game programming to create interactive, gameplay experiences.
