Volunteering for PTO activities supports your students’ education and enriches their elementary school years.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available; PTO membership is not required to contribute your time. Most parents can find activities that fit within their busy schedules and allow them to share their strengths with the Oak Chan community.
Some of the roles parents can play as volunteers include:
- Event organizers
- Event committee supporters
- Teacher Appreciation
- Poster and flyer designers
- Crew members for set-up and tear-down at events
A list of volunteer opportunities for various events throughout the year is listed below, with descriptions of the help needed. Take a look and join a fun group of parents working together to support our children's school.
Note: Category 2 clearance is required to volunteer in classrooms or on campus during school hours. Forms and instructions can be found in the school office.
