In 2015, we partnered with the College Board to create the AP + PLTW program to increase participation in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) courses. This program provides an opportunity for students to earn a recognition that shows colleges and employers that they’re ready for advanced course work and interested in STEM careers.
To ensure that qualifying students in your school earn the recognition this summer, please encourage students to submit their application by June 30, 2016 via the AP + PLTW Student Recognition site. Students will only need to complete three easy steps to get started:- Create and/or log in to their College Board account
- Verify their email address
- Provide personal information and details about their PLTW coursework
By completing this process, College Board and PLTW will be able to share and cross-reference course and assessment data to determine students’ eligibility for the AP + PLTW recognition.
