Home Health Aides will learn how to assist people with a variety of conditions such as chronic illness, post-operative recovery, physical disabilities, cognitive impairment, and end-of-life situations. They help with activities of daily living such as bathing, personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. They will learn basic medical skills including checking blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Responsibilities of home health aides include maintaining a safe and clean home environment. Home health aides provide companionship and support to patients and their families during challenging times.
