All athletes must be cleared through online registration at before they may participate in any school sports. An online registration requires an up-to-date Sports Physical form on file. The Sports Physical Form must be completed and turned in to their coach before an athlete may tryout. The Sports Physical form is good for one calendar year.

Team Party on Tuesday, May 14 right after school in the dance room from 3:40-4:15ish.
Please return your clean jersey to your attendance coach. Replacement cost for jerseys is $25.

Old Announcements and Information:
*Daily Practice: Monday - Thursday 3:45-4:45pm
*Practice ends at 4:45pm. After cleaning up the equipment, your child will be ready for pick up. Please be on time.
*Team Picture Day: Tuesday, March 26
*The final day to join the track & field team is Monday, March 25.
*Parent Meeting- Thursday, March 14 after practice @ 4:50pm. Meet at the bleachers near the track.
*We encourage all athletes to participate in up to four events.
*All athletes will participate in a minimum of four practice meets (weather permitting).
*In order to compete in Trials, the coaches will place the top 4 athletes for each event, at each grade level, and gender group. (only three athletes at each grade level and gender group will be placed in the 1600m for Finals)

*Track & Field Information Meeting: Friday, February 22 from 2:10-2:30pm in the Gym
*In order to participate in Track & Field, a Sports Physical Form must be completed by a physician and turned in to your attendance coach.
*In order to compete in any Track & Field Meets, your parent must complete all information at:
*Athletes and parents need to signup for Track & Field practice and meet updates by Texting the message @2019fmstf to the number 81010
*If you are planning to participate in any sprinting events (60m hurdles-required, 100m, 200m, 400m, relay teams) we recommend purchasing track shoes (spinting shoes with spikes). You will need:
1/4" spikes for the FMS track
3/16" pyramid spikes for the all-weather tracks at Vista del Lago HS, Ponderosa HS, and Oak Ridge HS.
*Wear athletic clothing and running shoes every day to practice. It's also very important to stay hydrated.
