VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
FOR ALL MEETS
In order for our track meets to run smoothly and end on time or early, we need many willing volunteers. Please check in with coaches at each event to volunteer. There are many spots available for each meet. If everyone is willing to help at one meet we will have more than enough coverage. Thank youTrack & Field Team Announcements and Information:

Then contact your attendance coach if you have additional questions.*Please go to the Athletics Home for all sports signup information.*Parent/Student Athlete Information Meeting: Thursday, February 1 at 5:30pm in the Gym*First Practice: Monday, March 4*Track & Field Practices: Monday - Thursday 3:40 - 5:00pm @ FMS Track*Practice ends at 5:15pm. After cleaning up the equipment, your child will be ready for pick up. Please be on time.*Final day to join the Track & Field team: Monday, March 18*Spike Weekend at Fleet Feet Folsom:

Tuesday, March 12 5:30-7:00pm (15% discount on all regular-priced items)*4X100m and 4X400m Relay Teams: We will field an A Team and a B Team, at each grade level and gender group, for the four practice meets. Please consider donating to our sports programs. Payments and donations will be received at the Student Accounts Office or online. Transportation Fee/Donation FormPlease print and complete all three forms linked below along with a copy of your DRIVER'S LICENSE and your insurance policy DECLARATIONS PAGE (not the insurance card) and submit all paperwork to your athlete's coach.4. Copy of Insurance Policy DECLARATIONS page (not the insurance card)______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________*Wear athletic clothing and running shoes every day to practice. It's a good idea to always be prepared with sweatpants and a sweatshirt or jacket. This will help keep your muscles warm and ready to go.*Bring water! It's very important to stay hydrated.*All athletes will participate in four practice meets. (rain or shine)*We encourage all athletes to participate in up to four events at each practice meet.*In order to compete in Trials, the coaches will place the top 4 athletes for each event, at each grade level, and gender group. (only three athletes at each grade level and gender group will be placed in the 1600m for Finals)*If you are planning to participate in any sprinting events (65m hurdles-required, 100m, 200m, 400m, relay teams) we recommend purchasing track shoes (sprinting shoes with spikes). You will need:
1/4" spikes for the FMS or the SMS track3/16" pyramid (or xmas tree) spikes (NO NEEDLE NOSE SPIKES) for the all-weather tracks at Vista del Lago HS, Folsom HS, Cordova HS, Ponderosa HS, Union Mine HS, and Oak Ridge HS______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Please consider donating used track shoes to our team.
