• Tardiness disrupts class, is unfair to students who are on time, reflects a negative attitude toward the school and instructor and develops a habit which may negatively impact the student’s employment and academic success. Students who are not in class when the bell rings are considered late and must report to the office for a late pass BEFORE ENTERING CLASS.

After the first three violations, the teacher will implement the following campus late policy:

4th late Detention, Lunch or Classroom Work Service (15 minutes minimum) and Parent contact by teacher

5th late Detention, Lunch or Classroom Work Service (30 minutes minimum) and Parent contact by teacher

6th late Detention, Lunch or Classroom Work Service (50 minutes minimum) and Parent contact by teacher

7th late Saturday School—lowered citizenship grade; Student-parent conference with administrator

8th late Saturday School—lowered citizenship grade; Student/Parent conference with administrator

9th late Referral to Student Attendance Review Team (SART); Student placed on contract.

Failure to serve any of the above will increase penalty to the next level.  Failure to serve Saturday School when assigned may lead to suspension.
