Continuity and Change After the Civil War - UC Davis History Project Lesson Plan
This lesson is designed for use in an 8th grade classroom after students have finished studying the Civil War. The goal of the lesson set is to have the students think critically about the concept of change in history and to assess historical evidence to develop an argument as to how much stayed the same after the end of the Civil War and how much changed.
