Hey there Foxes! Don't forget that I'm posting your lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays from now on. Remember, on Mondays you can redo past lessons. Some of our past videos may not be available to view if the creator of them has discontinued use of them. If that happens, just explore some of our other lessons and videos.
I'm getting to work to your Mileage Club papers for October. I'll need this week to work on it. Next week is our Thanksgiving break. So I will have everything ready for you the first week of December. That's also when you can turn in your November MCAH sheet. I'm pretty sure we are continuing the program for December as well. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Friends! I've been asked by the P.E. department to post lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays from now on (Music lessons are posted on Tuesdays and Thursdays). So... that's what I will do from now on. However, since this Wednesday is a holiday, I will post one lesson this week on Thursday. If you want to do P.E. on Mondays, check out some of our MANY past lessons. That's why I have left them on this site for you. Maybe there's a past favorite lesson that you would like to do again? Maybe there's a past lesson that you haven't done yet? Just make sure that you get moving and have fun doing it! :) Ms. B.
It's time to start turning in your Mileage Club Recording Sheets if you do Mileage Club At Home (MCAH). ANY DAY over the next 2 weeks, bring your sheet to school, put it in the box outside the front office labed COMPLETED MILEAGE CLUB SHEETS, and then take a new sheet from the box right next to it labeled NEW MILEAGE CLUB SHEETS. Easy! Again, the number of sheets turned in will determine how long it will take to organize and distribute the charms. : ) Ms. B.

Hello Foxes! Mileage Club at Home (MCAH) officially starts this week. Remember, this program is optional. If you participate, keep your GREEN MCAH recording sheet for 1 month. There are 4 weeks on the sheet. You'll turn-in your sheet on your "tray day" the first week of November. When you drop off your sheet, take another one. Then give us 1-2 weeks to review your sheet, and gather up all the charms you've earned! Don't forget to do your warm-up (see menu), then your P.E. lesson, then finish with the cool down (see menu). Week of 9/21-9/25
Buenos dias Foxes! This week we are going to continue dancing. Don't forget to check 'LIVE with Ms. B." in addition to your P.E. lessons for the week. In the "LIVE" section is everything that we do together in our 10 minute live Teams and Zoom meetings. Right now there are 25 dance moves waiting for you to try or revisit. Remember, dance is a great way to move your whole body, and it makes you happy! So pick a dance and let loose! Ms. B. : )

Hi Friends! This week we're gonna dance, so get ready to move and groove! I've divided the dances into grade levels, however, you can do any of the dances that I have posted. Be careful when you do the high energy ones if you're not in that grade level. Also, be warned that the younger grade level dances may cause silliness. Ms. B. : )

Hello my Fox Friends, I hope you and your family are well. It was great to see almost everyone on Teams last week. Remember, we will see each other once a week for 10 minutes, so be ready to move on your P.E. day. Click on P.E. SCHEDULE to see your day and time.
Let's talk technical issues. To my knowledge, the district has solved our content blocking problem. Now it has come to my attention that chromebooks cannot download information. This prevents you from playing the videos I have posted. So, I am learning a program called Screencast-O-Matic. This should allow me to copy the videos and post them here. Give me a couple of days to figure it out.

Week of 8/24-8/28
Hi Friends! Thank you for visiting my P.E. website. Make sure to check-in here twice a week. You can complete the lessons during your district directed P.E. time (Kindergarten: 12:30-1:10, 1st-5th Grades: 1:00-2:00), or you can complete the lessons on your family's time schedule.
Now that we have a full week of school, you can expect me to post lessons for you twice a week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I will have new lessons ready for you. All the activities are family friendly, and I urge you to complete them with fun, energetic music playing in the background.
Check out my section on homemade equipment. Now is a great time to go exploring inside where you live, and see what P.E. equipment you can create.
Hopefully by next week I will be able to post my own videos to this website (that link to my You Tube channel).

P.S. For those of you with a district chromebook, I heard that the district is blocking the VIMEO videos that I have ready for you to watch. Mr. Lundberg is aware of the problem, and is helpng me to fix it. Please be patient. All the Brain Booster activities have a written lesson that can guide you until I get the videos unblocked. Sorry!!!

Week of 5/11-5/15
Hi everybody! What's new? I hope you've found your favorite way to exercise by now. Your lessons are ready and waiting for you. Again this week, both lessons can be modified for any student. Primary students participating in the upper grade lesson should work at a slower pace, for less time, and with family members who are patient and encouraging as opposed to critical. Upper grade students can increase the difficulty and creativity of the primary lesson while always keeping safety in mind. Keep up the good attitudes and the hard work! :) Ms. B.

Week of 4/20-4/24
Hello my friends! Again this week, one lesson is for primary students (kindergarteners through 2nd graders), and one is for upper grade students (3rd-5th graders). Of course, households with multiple levels of students can do the activities together. Upper grade students would be expected to patiently and kindly guide their younger sibling "classmates" through their activities. Conversely, younger students should be given the opportunity to guide their older sibling "classmates" through their primary lesson. Follow the golden rule: treat each other the way you would like to be treated. Teach each other the way you would want to be taught. Now let's get to work! : ) Ms. B.
P.S. Primary students, start saving your empty paper towel rolls. You'll need them to create a "wand" for next week's lesson.
Week of 4/13-4/17
Hi Foxes! This week's lesson focuses on Skillastics. Skillastics is a whole class game that we play at school. It's a very active and fun game. This week we're gonna play the game at home. You will need to print out the game cards. If you don't have a printer, write the exercises down on different pieces of paper and keep your device open to the Skillastics page so you can see the pictures. Click on Skillastics to get started! Spring Break, Week of 4/6-4/10
Hello again! I hope everybody is feeling good, and keeping busy. I'm bike riding almost every day, and building my strength with kettlebells. Even though this week is Spring Break and you're not required to do any school work, I've put together some activities for you because you need to exercise every day (hopefully for 60 minutes)! Week of 3/30-4/3
Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I miss you, and I miss teaching you P.E.. That said, it's great to get back to P.E. business even if it's online. Change can be challenging, but it gives us new opportunities to succeed. So let's get on our new path to success!
Each week I will give you a lesson to complete sometime during the week. Students in grades K-2 should spend 60 minutes total (not all at once) during the week completing the lesson. Students in grades 4-5 only need to spend 30 minutes total during the week doing the lesson. HOWEVER, since we are all at home and need to get our energy out, please feel free to spend more time and/or days enjoying the lesson. Remember that you should be getting 60 minutes of exercise a day in order have a strong, healthy body and a positive attitude.
Your P.E. should proceed as follows: complete the warm-up, complete some or all of the P.E. lesson, then complete the cool down. The nutrition, body, and health sections are optional, and can be read and reread throughout the week. (What a great way to teach and quiz your parents!)

So find some space where you're living that is safe and uncluttered, make sure you have clothes on that you can move in, and drink some water when you need to. Remember, P.E. isn't perfect. Just do your best and have fun! : ) Ms. B.
P.S. A great, easy-to-follow book to create your own P.E. class at home is the Awesome Elementary School Physical Activities book by Cliff Carnes. It has neat illustrations that help to guide you through fun activities and games along with ideas for homemade P.E. equipment.
