Walking Bus to SchoolPosted by Richard A. Tapia, Ed.D. at 10/4/2017
What a great way to start the day by getting energy and walking to school. On October 4, Empire Oaks students and staff promoted safe and healthy choices by walking to school. Six teams comprised of 12 teachers and staff and over a hundred students walked to school. We hope to continue those efforts with upcoming dates to walk to school more often! Here is a picture of Team 1 arriving at the park on their way to school from the Renaissance clubhouse.
Bike-A-ThonPosted by Richard A. Tapia, Ed.D. at 8/25/2017
Bike-A-Thon was a smashing success this year. The tradition of riding with our firsties and Kinder fellas has become a campus favorite. We enjoy practicing healthy lifestyles and bike safety while we exercise during the day riding our bikes and scooters.

The RGOTN was a great way to kick off the school year and enjoy one another's company before the school year began. It was also a great venue for finding out who your teacher was for the new school year. Thanks to our awesome PTA for sponsoring the annual event!
