Welcome to the VdLHS College & Career Center!
Every student needs a post-secondary plan. The College and Career Center is here to help you create and achieve yours.
Resources include:
College/Career Center- Information available on universities, community colleges, CTE programs, trade schools, employment, military, summer programs, gap year, financial aid and more.
2021- 2022 Colleges at VdLHS - Coming to campus soon! They will have a table set up at lunch.
Financial Aid/Scholarship Resources - Student Scholarship Workshops, parent help with the FAFSA, and scholarship resources are available through the College/Career Center.
Flextime Presentations and Workshops- Sign up to attend a Flextime workshop on topics including resume building, interview skills, college exploration, career exploration, FAFSA and Scholarships, course planning.
Peer Tutor Program - Students who have completed a class with an A or B, with teacher's approval, may sign up to be on the Peer Tutor List. Students are paid $12 per hour. The current Peer Tutor List is accessible with a FCUSD student log in. Vista students in grades 10-12 can apply to be peer tutors by completing a Peer Tutor application. Applications can be picked up in the career center.
Military Options- Keep a look out for them during lunch in the quad. Also, check flextime signups for their presentations and information sessions.
