    If you have a preliminary credential and need to clear it, please contact this office immediately. The Teacher Induction program is currently closed for the 2018-2019 school year. We will assist you with placing your name on the wait list. The program cost is covered by FCUSD, so there is no cost to the Teacher. Contact our office if you have any questions. We look forward to taking this journey with you!

    Enlisting Third Party Comments

    Folsom Cordova Unified School District is seeking initial institutional approval by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. This approval would allow the Folsom Cordova Unified School District to sponsor educator preparation programs in California. Interested parties are invited to submit comments to the Commission at input@ctc.ca.gov. Please note that comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the institution (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates). All identifying information will remain confidential.

  • All Teachers & Mentors attend District Meetings and SCOE Trainings
    FCUSD Meetings & Events:
    Book Club: Lari Miller Powell is facilitating our Professional Learning Book Study again this year. We are studying "Help for Billy," by Heather T. Forbes. Books were distributed through district Mail to all Mentors and New Teachers in our program and everyone is invited to attend. Please sign up on GoSignMeUp so Lari can plan for your attendance. Detail about each session can be found on the GoSignMeUp webpage. You can earn 2 hours of Professional Development for Teacher Induction for each session you attend.
