FCUSD Independent Study Options
Parents and guardians of Folsom Cordova Unified School District have the option to enroll their child/children in traditional, in-person, or independent study during the 2021 - 22 school year.
Interested parents should connect with their school of record and request a student-parent-educator conference to learn more about student rights, enrollment, disenrollment, re-enrollment, etc. Specific information related to independent instructional time, such as synchronous and asynchronous learning, can also be found here in English and Spanish.

CTC Accreditation: Enlisting Third Party Comments
Folsom Cordova Unified School District is seeking initial institutional approval by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. This approval would allow the Folsom Cordova Unified School District to sponsor educator preparation programs in California. Interested parties are invited to submit comments to the Commission at input@ctc.ca.gov. Please note that comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the institution (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates). All identifying information will remain confidential.
