    Cordova Gardens Gate Guidelines

    Please see staff for full details

    Over the summer, our campus has had new gates and fences installed, making us a closed campus. Please review this list of new protocol involving the safety of your student.

    • Closed Campus - all visitors must sign in and out in the office
    • Gates open at 8AM. Parents must remain with student in the front of school prior to 8AM as there will be no supervision.
    • 3rd-6th grade students will walk themselves independently to class to start their day
    • 1st-2nd grade students are encouraged to walk independently to their class to start their day
    • Cleared Catergory 2 parents of students in grades K-2 may support the school as a volunteer on the playground or at breakfast in the mornings 
    • At dismissal, all students will exit through the gates. Primary(K-2) students are escorted to gates by their teachers
    • Parents, please wait outside of the gates for your student to be dismissed
    • Pre-school parents and Kindergarten volunteers must wear badges daily

    Preschool Registration is going on now and we have plenty of slots left!

    Children with birthdays September 1, 2012 through September 1, 2014 are eligible to enroll.

    Income and eligibility guidelines have been revised, so even if you did not qualify in the past, you may be eligible this year!

    Category 2 Volunteers Needed

    The 2017-2018 year is about to begin and we sure could use your help.

    If you would like to help out on campus in your child's classroom and go on field trips, come fill out an application.

    Volunteers will need to have an approved application, clear TB test, and fingerprints with the district in order to help on our campus.

    Applications will be available at the Garden Party, or come see us in the office and we'll get you started.
