  • CTC Accreditation: Enlisting Third Party Comments

Folsom Cordova Unified School District is seeking initial institutional approval by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. This approval would allow the Folsom Cordova Unified School District to sponsor educator preparation programs in California. Interested parties are invited to submit comments to the Commission at input@ctc.ca.gov. Please note that comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the institution (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates). All identifying information will remain confidential.

  • Latest update: Vista del Lago capacity

On Thursday, Dec. 13, the Folsom Cordova Board of Education approved the criteria that will be used to determine registration priorities at Vista del Lago for the next school year (2019-20). These priorities will help the school and District keep enrollment at a previously approved cap of 1,850-1,900 students, a short-term, temporary solution to help alleviate overcrowding.

Click here see the final registration priority criteria the Board of Education approved. Families are reminded that the school will not be accepting new Inter-District Transfer Permits (outside FCUSD boundaries) or new School Choice (inside FCUSD boundaries) requests at any grade level. Additionally, the school will be requiring three verified proofs of residency.
