RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.- Due to retirements and promotions into administrative roles, FCUSD will be seeing many new but familiar faces for their school’s principals and vice principals throughout the district. Such changes include:

Folsom

• Ann Botsford- Vice Principal, Vista del Lago High
• Annie Conover- Vice Principal, Folsom High
• David Frankel- Principal, Gold Ridge Elementary
• Leane Linson- Principal, Folsom Lake High 

Rancho Cordova

•  Kathleen Ayre- Principal, Rancho Cordova Elementary
• Michele Brown- Vice Principal, Cordova High
• Dana Carrigan- Principal, Kinney High
• Scott Meyer- Vice Principal, Mitchell Middle
• Mike Shepherd- Principal, Mitchell Middle
• Joseph Piazza- Principal, Cordova Meadows Elementary
• Sandy Spaulding- Principal, White Rock Elementary
• Carole Vargas- Principal, Navigator Elementary

District Office

•  Elena Cabrera- Director, Categorical Programs and Grants
• Curtis Wilson- Assistant Superintendent, Elementary Instruction 

The staff transferring to new campuses mostly stated how excited they are for their new roles and how they were warmly welcomed to their new schools. One thing that is present amongst all of the principals and vice principals is the eagerness to finally start the school year and see all the kids returning to school.

David Frankle, new principle at Gold Ridge Elementary, stated “I look forward to the first day of school, where I get to greet all the smiling returning students.”
