Board members attended the Annual Conference of the California School Boards Association. With more than 100 sessions, board members get information, share insights, and hear how other districts operate.  It is the only conference that focuses on the governance perspective and what it takes to lead a school district.   Workshops topics include budget and finance, student achievement, governance roles and responsibilities, community engagement, communication and collaboration. And, there's a a trade show by education's business partners to view new products and services.  This is also the time when our board members network with members from other districts and confirm that FCUSD is one of the best districts in the State of California.
