Principal Tapia is known by all the kids on campus, and HE knows all the kids on campus.  It was heart-warming to see the reaction when we walked into classrooms.  Of course, he spoke Spanish in the FLES rooms.  The FLES students had a field trip to Chico State the prior day where they were privileged to see a Spanish ballet, take a nature walk, and visit with college students.  Dr. Tapia has "connections" at Chico State.   He is a proud alumni.
