FCUSD is rated the #1 school district in Sacramento County, again, with a twelve point increase on our Academic Performance Index (API).  Folsom Cordova USD reached 837.  The largest gain district-wide was Theodore Judah Elementary School which jumped 90 points to earn an API of 900! Other notable improvements include:  Cordova Villa 48 points, Mather Heights 77 points, PJ Shields 37 points, and Mills Middle 39 points.  The majority of FCUSD schools successfully made their growth target.  The chart below lists all schools in the district.

 

2012 API scores for Navigator were not published because during the 2011-12 STAR test an adult error (irregularity) occurred during the administration of the 5th grade science test.  A spare classroom with science posters on the wall was used for test administration.  That created the irregularity.  Since it affected more than 5% of the test takers, the State will not publish the scores. Based on the best information we have, Navigator's API is estimated to have been 795, a growth of 20 points over last year.
