FCUSD Students bring home awards for PSA Breathe California
Folsom Cordova schools participated in Breathe California's second annual anti-tobacco PSA contest as part of the Hackademy Awards Ceremony. The contest was open to 6th - 12th grade students in California and the winners were selected by Breathe California's own Youth Advisory Board. Several Folsom Cordova students received prizes from Breathe California and were presented a certificate of recognition from the California State Senate, signed by 6th district Senator Dr. Richard Pan. This year Breathe California had 38 videos entered in their contest and 68% if those entries were made by FCUSD middle and high school students.
