Kaiser Permanente Named Non-Profit Partner Of The Year

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – Kaiser Permanente has been named Folsom Cordova Unified School District’s 2014 Non-Profit Partner of the Year.
Kaiser Permanente has aided Folsom Cordova by providing invaluable learning opportunities for students. This summer, they took Vista del Lago students into their preceptorship [internship] program, which was organized by Connie Lemon, a history teacher at Vista del Lago and supported by Dr. Williams, a surgeon at Kaiser.
Kaiser has also supports Folsom Cordova elementary schools by participating in Read Across America Day, hosting classroom workshops, and helping with assemblies, and walking clubs.
Former Cordova Villa Principal Jon Wallace said, “These are the folks that have supported Cordova Villa in a large scale. They are all extraordinary people and organizations.”
Kaiser will be awarded for their support at the 2013-2014 Community Partners Luncheon on March 28 at the Education Services Center.
